Tips for Remembering to Take Your Study Supplements Every Day

  • Consider using a 7-day pill dispenser if you have to travel a lot or have trouble remembering to take your study supplements when you are away from home. (Do not use a pill dispenser if traveling out of the country.)

  • If you are planning a trip out of the country, you may want to check with the U.S. Customs Service to see if you will need any additional documentation to describe your Study Supplement bottles. If you need a letter, contact your Study Site. Ask the Customs Service if you will need to keep your Study Supplements in the original supplement bottles when traveling out of the country. Regulations could differ based on your travel plans.

  • If you have difficulty opening the Study Supplement bottles request a non-childproof cap from the pharmacy.

  • Inform your Study Site staff if you are colorblind, or have difficulty reading the Study Supplement labels.

  • Ask a family member or someone that you live with to help remind you to take your Study Supplements each day.

  • Try to take your Study Supplements at the same time each day. Placing your supplement bottles where you will notice them may help you set up a routine for taking your study capsules. Record the time of day you plan on taking your Study Supplements.
