CRAB Provides Electronic Data Capture and Statistical Efforts to Support Lung Cancer Staging

CRAB has been an integral collaborator with the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) since the 1990s, and will continue this partnership through at least 2024. CRAB created a custom electronic data capture system to support data collection for the 9th revision.​ The most recent edition is the 8^th revision of the tumor, node, and metastasis (TNM) staging classification system for lung cancer – which was adopted by Union Internationale Contra Le Cancer (UICC) and the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) in 2016.

We are now working on the 9^th revision, which will include biomarker data. CRAB will create a custom electronic data capture system to support data collection for the 9th revision. We are also the statistical center for IASLC for staging in malignant pleural mesothelioma and thymic malignancies.
