Please include a cover letter with your resume submission. In your cover letter, describe how your skills and experience match the qualifications for the position. You are welcome to include a transcript as well, although it is not required.

Yes! Apply for any positions that interest you, as long as the qualifications are a match to your experience. You may send one resume for multiple positions, but please include a separate cover letter for each position of interest.

You will be notified once we’ve received your submission. Next, the CRAB Hiring Team will review your resume and cover letter to see if you are a good match for the position’s qualifications and for the culture here at CRAB. If we decide you might be a good fit, we will reach out to you regarding the next steps in the process. If you don’t hear from us within two weeks of the email confirmation of your resume submission, then we wish you all the best and hope you will keep CRAB in mind for the future!

Although we collect reference check and background check authorization forms when we send you the official CRAB application, we do not contact references until after the interview process. Background checks are not processed unless an offer is made.

In deciding whether or not an applicant is a good fit for a position, the CRAB Hiring Team considers many factors. Have you stated why working for CRAB would be personally meaningful? Do you understand the duties and responsibilities outlined in the job description? Do you fulfill the required qualifications for this position? Would you be willing to develop the desired skills and abilities during your time at CRAB?

Depending on the nature of the position and departmental needs, a flexible work schedule may be possible after supervisor’s consideration.

Although CRAB accepts out-of-state candidates, all employees are required to work on-site in Seattle. If you live out-of-state (or in-state but far from Seattle), please confirm in your cover letter that you understand the on-site work requirement and/or are willing to relocate.
